Love in The Time of a Pandemic
Self love, love from another, and everything in between is what gets us through.
It doesn’t happen often, but every once in awhile, I’m rendered speechless.
Today is rarely a good day for me. I lost my father 29 years ago today; he died by suicide. Not a day goes by when he doesn’t cross my mind at least once, but today, it’s all day.
I woke up this morning to one of the most beautiful pieces of writing I’ve read in a long time. My fellow sex writer and sister-wife, Yael Wolfe, penned this piece, which she graciously provided a friend link for, so I could share it with you all.
The Healing Act of Sharing Our Sexuality With Our Friends
Saying I was blown away is an understatement.
Yael is a master wordsmith, so it’s no surprise she captured what has been in my heart and mind for quite some time, better than I ever could. I’ll let her words speak for themselves.
During this life changing time, we’ve all changed in one way or another. As another writer said, we’re not all in the same boat, but we’re experiencing the same storm.
We Are Not All in The Same Boat
Let’s try to remember to give ourselves, and those around us, a little more grace than usual, a little more love than usual, and the space to heal.
Rather than share an excerpt as I’ve been doing, here’s a link to a piece I shared recently. I hope you enjoy it. It’s a friend link for all to enjoy.
I Watched My Girlfriend Have Sex With My Boyfriend
I hope you’re all staying safe and well out there.
